26 RPTRAs in East Jakarta Ready to Be Inaugurated

The construction of 26 Child-Friendly Integrated Public Spaces (RPTRA) in East Jakarta has finally completed. Now, it has entered cleaning stage prior to inauguration.

Suharyati, Head of East Jakarta Public Housing and Residential Sub-dept. disclosed the 28 public spaces construction is supported from 2016 City Budget (APBD). From that number, two of them are already inaugurated and leaving only 26 public spaces.

He mentions, those public spaces that ready to be inaugurated area public space on Jalan Kopi (Pasar Rebo), Jalan Raya Pondok Kopi (Duren Sawit) and Arabika Park (Duren Sawit).
"The developer still has obligation to do maintenance until six months ahead," he continued.
Meanwhile, Head of Jakarta Empowerment, Child Protection and Population Handling Dept., Dien Emmawati explained the 26 public spaces were initially slated to be inaugurated on February 11. Because of finalization process, it had to be delayed until February 16.
